I believe Krylon but I would get a second opinion...that's the only kind that sticks out in my mind.

Krylon Fusion works on glass. Lay the surface you want to spray nice and flat, do several thin coats and try to avoid runs. Minor flaws wont be visible so dont worry.

BTW, what color you looking to use? Fusion comes in a black and a blue that both look good... i personally went with the blue and think it looks really nice.

Alright I bought some paint. I wasn't sure what kind to get. My tank is glass. I bought Krylon Fusion and Interior-Exterior. The Fusion asys that in bonds to plastic, wood, metal, ceramic, and more. The other says wood, metal, plastic, wicker and more.

Yeah, one time I was going to use blue instead of black as well. I ended up just going with black but I might try blue next time.

The Fusion works well on glass... I used the blue fusion and like it... it might not be as dark as you planned, but i thnk you can remove it fairly easily if you really dont like it.

BTW, keep us updated!

I have painted tanks both blue and black, the main drawback I found with the blue is that it showed algaes, diatoms, etc. way better than the black. In fact the black kinda hides that kind of stuff growing on the tank.

I work in a paint store, so I know a lot about paint. I really am not sure if fusion will hold up being submersed in water, but if anybody else on the forums have tried it and have had success then go ahead. You do have more options though, you could go ahead with a 2 part epoxy kit like tile-doc that was designed with water in mind, or a number of various pool-paints. You can tint the tile-doc to almost any color you want but with the pool paint you are limited to a few shades of blue. There are also a number of different marine coatings you can use. But with whatever you use i would definatley recommend you let the paint cure for 2 to 4 weeks.

When painting the back of a tank, you generally paint the outside back, not the inside.
