Our New Baby!

The babies are quite playful, its really cute to see the little kids out there with them.
We put all the little ones in a pen one day and gave all the small children leads, their job was to pick a baby, clip the lead on and bring their baby to their great-grandfather. All us adults could do was giggle as these little kids were pitted with these headstrong colts/fillies. Some of the kids were drug around the pen, few completed the task, and one smart one decided to ride his on over to the gate :mrgreen: , needless to say he took a few laps around the pen at a high rate of speed! When he was thrown, he stood up and asked if he made 8 seconds!

Well the yesterday afternoon on into the evening we kept a close eye on a mare that was due to have her first ioal. I stayed as late as I could hoping she'd lay down but with it being a school night I had to get the little one home and in bed. About 3 oclock this morning she had herself a little filly.
