Our New Baby!

Well this morning we had a new baby! Many more expected at any time. Isn't he a cutie :lol: Apx. height is 20" :shock: One of out bigger babies for sure.

I definently need to make a trip to see all these mini horses or ponies or whatever the correct word is.

Here's "Baby Girl", born on the 26th of May. She was 17 3/4 inches at brith. There were some complications during birth, so she was pulled and has been bottle fed. There was a time when even the vet thought that she wouldn't make it. Here she was minutes after birth.

Here she is today, being spoiled rotten being fed her bottle.

They are not actually mine, I just help out sometimes. Between my grandparents and my aunt and uncle they have 50+ head.

Here we go with another batch of babies.....

This little guys has yet to be named, he was born sometime in the early hours this morning. He's apx 19" tall at birth. I'll be up there at lunch to get some more pictures.

I was out in one of the pens with some mares that are expecting any day now (if not tonight) and got some cute pictures. Apache is one the left with Mystic on the right.

This mare here is feeling her oats today, not sure if this is the equivilant of a 'hello' or a finger :cool1: That is a standard bale of hay, she just happens to be standing in front of the hole they ate clear through the center.
