Thanks Sadi... I agree and thanks for the encouragement. Here are the pics of the nicely colored "plastic brain" that just doesn't do anything, the red one that seems to be doing the best. Notice how one half of the polyp (shaded) is widely extended and the other half in the light is less extended, next is the sad looking faded brain... that is sort of yellow. I have moved the two sadder looking specimens into indirect light and less current. Will continue to feed aggressively as long as nitrates remain undetectable.
On a more positive note... I have included is one of my two freakishly large turbo snails (I just love those guys!).
