October Contest – enter your best green coral photo

The theme of this month's contest is for you to show us a photograph capturing your nicest green-colored coral or corals. I've seen some amazing greens out there and want to see some more. The winner will receive one auto top-off float switch and one $20 gift certificate to use at Coral Dynamics! Now is your chance to show off your photography skills! Next month will feature a different theme.

How it works:
The deadline for submitting your photo is Oct 18, 2004 and I will only be accepting the first 25 entries for the contest. If I don't have 25 entires by Oct 18, then we will vote on the number of entries received by that date. All members will vote on the entries to determine the best photo until Nov 1, 2004. The member with the most votes is the winner of both prizes. I will send the prizes to the winner immediately after the contest.

The rules:
The photo must be taken of corals from your personal tank. You must be an active member of nanotank.com and have at least 10 posts on the site before Nov 1. Only one photo entry per member. Moderators cannot enter. I will only ship to the continental US. If the winner resides elsewhere, they are responsible for their own shipping. I reserve the right to change/modify/cancel any part of this contest at any time for any reason.

How to enter:
Email the photo entry to [email protected]
Type Oct. Photo Contest, member name in the email subject
Try to keep photos at 400W x 300H. I can resize them if need be.

I'm a moderator and I have no corals....in fact, I have zilch in my tank except some curing liverock. Boohoo, I can't enter! On the plus side I plan to fetch another 30lbs of live rock tomorrow.

Okay guys, as of today I only have five entries for the October photo contest. Email your photos in soon as there is only about a week left!

Guestit, liverocks and fishinInTheDark, I receieved your entries and have them saved but prefer them not posted until I receive all the entries. Everyone else please email them to me as described above. I will post them all on Oct. 18. Thanks.

C'mon folks, send in your pics. The photo forum on RC is one of my favorite spots. It'd be cool if we had something similar going here.
