Nudibranchs

What's the recommendations of adding one to your tank? They are very interesting and colorful, but I am going to resist purchasing one until I hear from you guys.

I wouldnt suggest having any mudibranch in a home aquarium. We do not actually know what many of them actually eat and they often die rather quickly in our tanks. I know it can be very hard to resist, but please do. IMO, LFS should not even stock them.

I agree with Jesse. Nudi's just aren't suitable for the home aquarium. They are some of the most beautiful specimens but getting one to eat can be difficult. Here is a thread that was brought up just the other day that might shed some light on them.

Thanks to both Jesse and Trogdor for their quick reply to my post. That's what makes this site so helpful. I would have weakened and gone on and purchased one today.
