Now that my tank has fully matured, I have a fish question

Well, I'm glad to say that my 12g Aquapod has now fully matured/cycled. I have a FOWLR tank with artificial corals to dress it up. I just added my first "test fish" ... a blue devil damsel. Very beautiful! Only one fish. Well, my fish has started hiding and does not come out like she did in the beginning. I think she may be stressed, but I'm not sure. Could she be sick, or is this normal in the beginning period?

Yes, I check my water quality daily ... even though my tank is mature. Everything looks good, so maybe my fish is just stressed and needs some personal space to adjust to her new home. :) She's the only fish in the tank, so it's not stress from another fish. I do have some blue leg hermits, but they don't seem to bother her.

I'm happy to announce that my Blue Damsel has regained her confidence and is now happily swimming about the tank! Guess she just needed some time. Thanks to all for your input since I'm new to this!

Hello, I just came over here for a visit from a couple of other sites I hang out in. Noticed you mentioned a couple of times that your tank is mature. I am guessing that you mean you have completed you initial nitrogen cycle.
For an interesting read see here:
