First of all, welcome everybody since this is my first post.
I'm completely new to the SW. I've got couple of FW tanks. I've been browsing the web, and forum for couple weeks and finally decide to have one nano. Since I have limited space available, all I can fit is 6g nanocube and obviously I got tons of questions. First of all, how many sand, and what do you prefer live sand or regular? I'm thinking of 10 lb of LR is it enough? And other question cured or uncured, I read the article about this, but still I'm confused. What do you suggest for a newbie like me?
And one question about JBL 6g nanocube: do I have to upgrate light or pump, or is it possible to run a simple nano reef with the fixtures it has?
I think that is all for now, later I will have more questions. bye1:

:welcome GREGI....

well all i can say that we like alot the Argonite LS... and they say that 1lb of LR per gallon of water but not quite convince with that i think just enough like around 4lb of live rock for you in the main tank and well you can add probably around 1-2lb of LR in the 3rd chamber and some in second chamber......and well 'cause you dont want alot of LR cause later on you'll have to take out some cause corals comes with pieces of LR so that adds up if you know what i mean and i think cure LR is better even if is cure there is always gonna be some dead stuff in there that need to be cure and that will help your Amonia cycle...

With the stock light of a nanocube 6g you could keep some shrooms, zoas and other easy to take care of corals but not that color full keep that in mink ..color= stronglight.... and well a good mod for nanoscube is this

You'll gona love it for more flow and everything something that you'll regreat if u dont do it.... (but up to you not necessary though)

OK i think i answer all your questions so far.....see what others have to say...
