lol ok point taken i read other threads and i have a good handle on it now. Another question i have is 5 pounds of live rock enought for my Aqua Medics nanowave 9. It has a refusium built in and a skimmer i used sand as the sub. I think that should be plenty for a bio filter or am i wrong?

I think you are going to need more live rock. I love the last shot. LOL a great tank and I like the shot showing the "guts".

Very cool looking! I personally like zebra hermit crabs, but they can get a bit aggressive and eat snails if the crabs want a new shell.

I'd say that's much better, but I think a few more caves would be better. I've noticed a lot of inverts hide in caves all day and venture out more at night, so a few more caves(even smaller ones) would probably make them feel a little safer.

Also, I think we have the same sand, I used it in a shellie tank(cichlids). Was it as big a pain in the ass to clean for you as it was for me?? All the other sands I've used have been pretty easy, this one, not some much.
