New Yellow Coris Wrasse

My 2 1/2 year old neon goby finally bit the dust a while back and my little clown ended up with brook, so I've been contemplating another fish for the cube. I saw this wrasse at the LFS last month and have been going in and checking on his health frequently. I figured if it was sitll there when I went in on Sunday I'd buy it. I had the employee feed it for me and it's accepting prepared food.

Got it home and acclimated and it immediately dove into the sand bed. It was out for a little bit yesterday but got spooked and hit the sand again. It's out a bit more today, exploring the tank. Great little fish. Very active.

Blurry pic and the flash was on, but I managed to get one that's fairly decent with my crappy little camera.

hey that gives me an idea for how long my neon gobys may live. (the neon blue and yellow one) That's a cool looking new fish you got there. Very nice sugar...what size tank are your fish in??

2 years is about the average lifespan of those little guys. Shame too since I love them so much!

The new wrasse is in the 30 cube. Funny as hell to watch him dive into the sand. It does it so quickly!
