for the last three or so days my anenome shrimp has been under my open brain...wondering why, hes always on top, it went under the day i treated my tank for ich with garlic. as of last night when i got home from work at 4am, i noticed tiny white UFO's (unidentified floating objects) in my tank under the moon lighting. i got my flash light out and was observing them and realized they where coming out from unber my OB. as of this morning there are like two hundred baby shrimp still floating in my ten gallon. babies are sweet but not that many...

observation difference:peppy shrimp babies hide in LR nooks and cranies, anenome shrimp babies float around, pom pom babies crawl on the glass....i am a proad father of all three....

new update on my babies....anenome shrimp grow quicker than the others i have in the tank. i can watch them eat even....when there suspended, they float around at night and early morning. the weird thing is there is still like a hundred or two still floating in the tank.

They may still be adjusting to the higher light. Since my 96w is over a 40g cube, they're not used to as much light as they're receiving now. If you have cyclopeeze I'd target feed them a little bit of that every 3-4 days.

These Tulips, do they prefer staying on the substrate or on a rock? And Drty, did you strategically place them there? I cant wait to get mine, they look really cool....plus the fact that they are small, I guess they wouldnt do any damage to the rock work. Cool tank Drty....I may have to check your tank quite often and see how its doing, I was able to influence 3 people to get into the hobby, I'll be setting up their tanks this weekend....so they'd have their own fish to bother, they think my maroon is playing with them when he's actually shooing them off.....and aquarium to tap the glass on. Its quite bothersome when people do that but I just didnt want to be rude....they'll know what I mean once they get their tanks running.

By the way, whats with the shot glass in the tank?

sadielynn, which tank are you refering to? The NanoCube or the Pico? I really havent done much to both of them....but I did realize that the macro algae I placed in my Pico tripled in 10 days...needs pruning....still waiting for the Tulip Anemones to arrive, maybe on Firday.... :D ....for now both tanks are just chillin...funny thing about modding, once its done, its done...nothing evolves. I will post some pics when I start adding new stuff inside.

Drty, thats a nice clown goby.....very yellow....does he really swim around? Whenever I go to my LFS, the gobies they have are always on the substrate....thats one reason I didnt get a goby....my GF didnt like it just sitting in one place and ended up with a maroon clown. And as for your tulips, where did you place them, near the light or midway? I do like the Halimed plant you have.
