Hi i am new to this forum..i have a 3 gal reef going and a 15 gal reef..My question is i have 18 watts of lighting on the 3 gal. is that enough lighting for my corals..currently i have mini carpet anemme, red zoanthids, for a clean up crew i have 2 snails in the tank...thanks in advance for you input

wow not many posts here..maybe i should have put this under the lighting section..moderators could you please move this for me..i would really like some opinions.

I'd say yes however I don't know much about the mini Anemone. I've heard people say that they would never keep an anemone under PC lighting. I've also heard people say not to keep anemone's in anything smaller then 30 gallons. So let's see if someone else with more knowledge will chime in.

the mini's only get the size of a half dollar..perfect for a nano..and it is doing well..i posted a pic under 2.5 nano section..

size wise maybe it's fine then but carpet anemone's I believe are the most light demanding anemones out there. Maybe the minis are different. The light will probably be fine for zoos and any other softy's you might get. If your getting growth and your coral are looking like they're supposed to and showing good growth then you are probably fine.
