New JBL tanks?

I've been hearing things about these new improved JBL tanks that haven't hit the market yet? anyone know anything about them?

I heard a rumor recently about a new JBJ tank that is supposed to be an improved nanocube but I haven't seen anything on them. Anyone else heard anything similar?

I haven't heard about JBJ coming out with a new tank but, a lot of buzz is going about the new 24g AquaPod. Chris at NanoCustoms.com is going to be carrying these. He is testing them right now. They supposedly have 2 chambers in the back and come with a protein skimmer.

Nanotuners is already selling them. They do not have a protein skimmer. There is a surface skimmer. So far I haven't been able to find a picture with the hood up on them though.

I had a JBJ 6g. nanocube and returned it to the LFS because there was an electrical problem with the lights. The lights are supposed to have three positions: on, off, and moonlight. Mine had on, on, and on. Not good.

Only thing that looks better is the new powerhead. It's a 166GPH ACCELA, supposedly with less heat, as opposed to the 106GPH the 2005 model has. The 24G DX sports a 266GPH head.

No idea when they are coming out.

Time for you the chime in... Dragon knows the inside scope on the new JBJ tanks; he's talked to many vendors that carry the JBJ line...

And he's in Anaheim where JBJ has most of there vendors....

all i can add to that is that aquabuys a sponser on this site is getting them in January 2006. Not long now to go with a better tank I'm excited.

I have the NEW JBJ 12g NANO LED.

It does not have a moonlight. I had to buy 10$ light (Which is amazing) and mount it. Not a big issue for me.
