Blue damsel. I liked them when i had my 75g. I always thought of them a cheap way to add some life and color to the tank, I guess that's why i like them. Any pics of your entire setup? I'm planning on doing a 10g tank, just want some additional ideas.

thanks.

yeah go to the thread "Ok On to a new project I am going to upgade my tank" it show some its not the best setup but I am still working on it some tech info on what I am running though

AGA 10gal tank
coralife 18w 9inch light with 1 10k and one atinic
aqaua clear 70 HOB filter
coralife digital thermoter
DIY Stand and Canopey
and a Penn-Plex 50w heater

With the lighting though I would go with like the 20" coralife something that puts out more watts but that depends on what your planning on keeping I have been told you should average 2-3 watts per gallon of water so the lowest I would recommend would be a 36w fixture but I would still look into even more I am either going to be adding a 70w metal halide to mine or getting a 96 w retro kit to install in my canopey not sure which yet but if you have any more "?'s" feel free to ask if I dont know one of these great folks on here with have the answer for you Very knowledgeable group of people in this group. :) and :welcome to Nanotank.com

I also added tonight a domino damsel and a huge snail not sure of the type but its about the size of a golf ball and I also added a good chunk of pulsing zenias so as soon as there settle I will starting doing some frags of them also for anyone I will post some pics tomarrow of the new arrivals I was going to do it tonight but I wantd to give domino time to settle into his new home ( i know thats alot of fish for a 10gal but hopfully this weekend I will be adding my 5.5 gal sump so that will bump me up to a 15.5 gal water vol which should be ok for just the 2 of them right? I dont plan on adding any more fish. but will keep all posted.

Just use caution with damsels

Well thanks all for the advice but It was easier to remove him then thought he passed when I was at work I came home and the crabs were having their own all you can eat buffet I think it was just to much bio load on the tank I had him in there for 2 days and the levels were already indicating time for a water change so I think I am just going to stick with the corals havent had much luck with fish.:(

you maybe able to get away with one small fish but that would be ok for a 10 gallon . Give the tank a little more time to mature a bit and you may be alright . Just my .02 sorry for your loss of Blue
