Need info for new nano tank

I've been out of the saltwater fish hobby for just over a year and i think the bug has bitten me again. I used to have a 180g reef tank so i'm familiar with how to take care of a tank. I just wanted to know how difficult it is to take care of a 12g nano tank? I'm probably going to purchase the JBJ 12g nano tank. What equipment will I need besides the equipment it comes with? What sort of maintenance is required with a nano tank? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

without going into a long schpeel about it, you could go to nano-reef.com and search for 12g setup or soemthing. There are alot of threads about people modifying their nano cubes.

A 12 gallon is easy if you go into it knowing what you're getting yourself into. I think it would be a fairly easy transition especially if you already have saltwater experience such as yourself. I personally believe that water changes (and quality) is the key to nanos. I would take a look at a few tanks from our Member's Tanks section to check out their light/filtration setups. :D

thanks for the info guys. That website was very informative. I'm gonna wait for JBJ lighting to come out with their brand new 24g nano tank. Sounds like its going to be nice.
