Salinity and specific gravity are a measurement of the amount of salt in your tank using different scales of measurement. For a reeftank I try to keep mine between 1.025 and 1.027, for a fish only go lower, say 1.018-1.021.

Temp I first see what the highest is the tank runs during the day and then shoot to keep it at that temp. Most peoples tanks run from 77-82 degrees, the main thing is to keep temp swings to a minimum.

Skipm,

Okay, I got the temp and specific gravity about Salinity? There are three readings temp, salinity and specific gravity. I understand the two that you just pointed out but about the salinity? Thanks for the range...

I don't personally use the salinity ranges so I don't have a range for you, sorry.
