After finaly gaining control over my algae problem i decided to post some pics, this is my tank a few days ago.

Its been so frustrating just having the tank full of algea and not being able do anything with it.

My 2 tanks side by side.

I will update when my new inhabitants have settled in, thanks for looking.

Very nice! Thanks for posting the pictures. Did you do anything special to remove the algae? (someone could learn from your experience ;-) )

Thankyou. Nothing special just kept pulling it out and as i did that macro alea on the top and the bottom (right) realy started to grow. Now the hair algea doesnt seem to come back in any great quantities, just small clumps that are quickly removed.

I like the corals in the middle.! But then again I love mushrooms, ricordias, yumas, and anything that looks like them!

Hello there, been doing my exams for a while but now that everythings over i feel that i should post some more pics and info.
I've got rid of the damsel and instead purchased a yellow candy hogfish (although i'm now concerned about its size suitability for the tank)
Other than that nothing has really changed, just a few growth shots.

i have the idea of a fuge in the back but its not a pressing matter right now as my nitrate levels remain lower than 5ppm.

Also i'm having a few problems with my green star polyp...it seems to be choking its neighbours, i feel that the only way to deal with this is to prune it back on a regular (and i mean regular) basis.

Thanks all, JakeKM
