Very nice looking tank. What kind of lighting are you running? Do you plan on keeping that butterfly in the 29g? How long has the tank been set up?

Its kinda nice to see a FOWLR tank once in a while.

Hey guys, I just transferred my fish over a couple weeks ago (transferred from my old 10 gallon) Once it was stabilized I put my fish in there, I just bought the copperband a week ago, and i plan on trading it in when he gets too large for my tank to another smaller one or upgrading my tank size :D I have 2 65 watt 50/50 fluorescent lighting setup and a penguin 200 bio-wheel filter along with a powerhead.

Yeah, that anemone is close to the polyps, I got it from the store that way (who got it from as a split from another guys anemone) They sold the whole rock that way, so i guess it doesnt mind it there. I want it to get off the rock so i can put the polyps somewhere else, but it is just a waiting game now. It moved about an inch or so since i put it in there.

why you dont brake the rock...and let them have separate rooms/home...just my suggestion.. but if the polyps are not getting bother by the anemone let them be they look great...

I was considering it, but I thought I would let them be, to see if it comes off the rock first. It started to move, so i thought it would go off on its own without stressing the polyps or anything. It looks like i will end up breaking the rock, I dont want the anemone to grow and sting the polyps later on because it feels crowded. What do you think??? thanks for the input eddy!!! James

Well i would like to enjoy my polyps so i'll probably break the rock.... and well i dont know about anemoneas never had experience with one....... but what i learn here is that they dont get stress if you get them out for a short time and then slowly introduce them cause corals are used to that... like someone said in here when the ocean gets low some corals even sponge are exposed to air and no water at all for a couple of hours so i think will be fine just handle with care if you are gonna doit and watch out with the sting of the anemone use some plastic gloves if you decide to doit.... but this is just me .... not telling you doit now

eddy :cool1:

p.s: in my experience i only had a rock of lavander shrooms over crowded and they didnt open that much then one day i was sick of the big rock and fragged all the shrooms then week later they were opening really big almost like a rhodactus hugemongous(bad spelling sorry) and know i have 2 shrooms that are splitting one in 2 and the other in 3 new lavanders and opening beautifully.....
