Hi guys! Here is a link to a short video of my nano tank.
https://vimeo.com/58069770

I started the tank in March 2012 and have been working at it slowly since. It is doing well with minimal equipment. Just live rock and sand for filtration, 3 power heads and a Kessil Tuna Blue for lighting. I love the tank but I have constantly been fighting algae. My parameters as of this morning are

Temp 79
Salinity 1.0245
Ph 8.1
Alk 8
Ammonia 0
Nitrites 0
Nitrates 10 (I am working on getting this down)
Phosphates 0
Calcium 400

Here is a stocking list
Lavender mushroom
Zoas
Star polyp
Waving Xenia
Pulsing Xenia
Orange montipora
Jedi mind trick
Unidentified acro
B&W clownfish
Pajama Cardinal fish
Peppermint shrimp
Bunch of hermits and snails

I put a blue spot jawfish in 5 months ago but I have never seen.
I had a cleaner shrimp and a frogspawn that have died.

I am planning on fragging and selling/trading some star polyp and Xenia soon. It is growing out of control. Let me know what you guys think. I am following some forums and I plan on adding a fuge and protein skimmer and of course some more live stock when I can afford it. Glad to be a part of this forum!

Update

I found the blue spotted jawfish, actually the dog found it. He had committed suicide. He was under a shelving unit. I have a glass top but it still found a way out. I picked up a Hector's goby last weekend and he is doing well. I decided to redo the aquascape. I hadn't done it since I first started the tank about a year ago. I have been thinking about it for weeks and decided it was time. Here are the before and after pics. I will take some more pics tomorrow when the lights come back on and the tank isn't as cloudy.
