I used to have 3 damsels in the tank. But now im just finishing the 6 week cycle.

This is the top view. i put my LR in the middle because it creats better circulation so there are no dead spots.

Some kind of shrooms or corals started growing out of the LR. The black spots.

What are some of the details on the tank and equipment? What kind of lighting are you using?

yea its the jbj picotope. Well the tank,filter,and light are from a company called tom aquatics. The lighting is 18 watts 50/50. I have my digital thermometer in their too.

I got this rock of shrooms at my LFS for $10. Next im gonna get some frog spawn for $24. Also he dosent tax. I dont think he believes in government taxing.

Had to do some new aquascaping to fit the shrooms in.

tank looking good and well please post some pics when shrooms open to see how they look on your tank OK... also are you sure are does shrooms??? cause in pic looks more like a rock with zoanthids!...

:lol: I hate that camera it sucks. :lol: I can never get clear pictures with it. yea im pretty sure there shrooms, but i cant identify wich kind since it came with a mix of them.

looks like a good start... take it easy with fish in a tank that small. Try to resize your photos too before posting them.

Do you have any plans on what you want to keep in this tank?

For a better clarity pic of your tank, try to back out just a little on your camera and your pics will come out much clearer...

Thanks for the picture taking advice guys, I really need them. Well as for stocking up my tank im thinking about adding 1 false clownfish, zoos, shrooms, and some soft corals. Im not sure what kinds though.

Due to the california heat waves i lost all my entire tank. So now i have an empty 3 gallon tank. What types of coral should i get now?

What happened??? did the heat nuke your tank or something?? well i guess we all experimenting this cause my tank is also looking pretty bad cause of the heat... but hopefully things will get better soon and for next year we need to plan ahead to have a AC unit next to our tank... :mrgreen:

Well i was away In my hometown of Santa Barbara for a wedding last weekend and when i came back my tank was completly nuked because of the heat. It was at 98F :evil: :sad:, because my dad forgot to leave the AC in the house on!!!!! :evil: :evil: :evil:. As for the AC i was planning to get a fan AC at Home Depot but theres just no way i can come out with that much money for one. I guess ill just have to buy PC fans and small Fans to screw on the wall for my tanks. :mrgreen:

I see what happened now...poor tank so so sorry! anyways about the AC i havent seen small ones a homedepot but i cant even look cause fans or AC our out of stock in almost any store that i have tried.... no wonder with this heat... but ill try home depot today see if a find a AC unit for atleast my room cause still getting pretty hot in here.....

Updated my lights from 18 to 24 watts. Also i got some real bad algae problems going on so i had to clean the rocks and take one out to cure it.
Any ways heres the new setup maybe next ill get a ac70 and make it to a fuge.
