Looks great. Like the rock alot. I checked out your lighting from another post, nice job. Look forward to seeing your tank grow. What do you plan on keeping?

I like the rockwork, you have quite a few cracks and crevices to place corals in. I look forward to more pics as your tank progresses. Skip

I've never glued any of the rocks together in any of my tanks. As long as they're balanced well, it should be fine.

zoos are definetly my favorite. Mikes pico, the tank of the summer, is an example of how zoos can make a tank jump out. Look forward to seeing the progress.

The tank is under cycle with LR and LS only. Just noticed in the AC300 he water surface looks like a very thin layer of oily, and noticed in the AC300 the water is like stand still although it is flowing in the tank.
any idea? what that could be.
thanks

Perhaps you could add an addtional power head for increased flow just get a small power head and that should help you out :)

Are we talking of puting the PH in the AquaClear 300? beacause in the tank itself i have huge water movement coming out of the AC300

where is the oily surface at in the filter or in the tank?
If it is in the tank the power head would be in the tank if it is in the
filter try changing your filter cartrige out to see if that helps some . I wouldnt add a
power head to the filter just my .02 .

no i was talking about putting it in the tank. just to help stir the surface more. that film unfortunately is a part of reef keeping for most people. both my tanks have it and most other tanks i know have it unless they've got a surface skimmer.

It is very small tank, and the water output from the AC300 in such a small tank, the Turbulence in the tank is like a wavy ocean.

I dont think i need a PH in there,

some algae growth cannot be avoided until the tank fully cures - I would suggest you remove the rock and brush the algae off with a stiff brush and replace it since you don't have much else in there yet it shouldn't be much of a chore. Then let it continue to cycle till the rock ages a bit more and the coralines start to come in better. You may have to do this a couple of times but its better now then after you have a bunch of other stuff in there to work on it.
