OK!!! It's here, the weekend that I start my long awaited upgrade. But lemme start with some history of my tank.
I started out in February with a dream, to have a nice looking Nano Reef. So I did some research for about a month, ordered my stuff, and on March 10th, I started her up. With 20 lbs of sand and 11 lbs of rock, my tank was off to a start. Now in the beginning, I was flamed so many times, because people said I was rushing myself, which I wasn't, but I used cured rock, from another tank, and the bagged sand, and Catalina Natural Ocean Water. I still rode out a cycle, what little one I had, then I started stocking. I added a CUC, some coral, and a clown. Then a little down the road, I added another clown, but about 2 weeks after I added the second one, it went MIA and presumed dead after a week of not seeing it. So over the summer, I slowly added some corals, but I was starting up a pico, which is now down. So my tank is a mess, waiting for tomorrow (or tonight, not sure if I'm going out), for me to really start cleaning it and adding the rock from my pico.
Once I finish cleaning it, I am going to start the 10 day acclimatization period of adding my 70 Watt 14000K DIY MH Pendant. Once that is done, I am going shopping for a small Rose Bubble Tip Anemone. Then I am selling/giving away my current clown for a pair of clowns, just dont know when or what type I want to get, something rare.
Ok Enough of me babbling, time for the pictures!!
Oh yea, here is the link to the MH DIY
