Moonlight strong enough?

would 3 of these lights be good as moonlights on a 2.5 gallon aquarium and/or a 3.5 gallon aquarium:

shows no picture, but it's hard to say how bright is bright, but I'm sure if you got enough of them and placed them just right, you'd get the glow you are looking for.

PS
as far as the main people of this site who respond, they usually more active during the week and take breaks on the weekend.

Also run a search on LEDs or moonlights here, there are tons of links to better products.

Hi I am new(and new to nano tanks started in october of 04) here I have a 7 gallon bow front and a 5 gallonfor moon lights I went to the to a local auto store and found "dash lights" made by type s I got a cig lighter adapter to plug into a wall the come with a pivot head and allows you to adjust the beam the lights are a blue color and give a nice nite time glow they are led so they should last when you attatche them to the hood use rubbing alchol let dry and apply and for around 20 dollars you have a moon light :lol:

There's no pic, but they would probably work fine. Of course you'll have to wire it up.

You can find much cheaper LEDs online, I found some at www.lsdiodes.com that were pretty inexpensive. Good luck, Skip
