Yes I wanted RED but the store only had the blue on hand.
Since it was pretty easy to modify and seal backup i'll probably endup making a red one too.

I just added a 1 LED moonlight to my 10 gallon nano. Can't say that I'm all that impressed with the results. It seems that it just sends a direct beem straight down to the center of the tank. So when you stand back, you have a "blue spot" and nothing else. Not happy about it!

I have 2, one on either side of my PC fixture. and I have them pointing at the opposite side of the tank, the "spotlight" effect is pretty much gone doing it that way. I can post a pic of how mine looks later. As far as blue vs. red, the blue lights that I got(my friend picked them out) are the same as a full moon, so the fish are used to that light.
