If you had the server space I'd put up my vid of the Moon Jelly I took at the NY Aquarium.

Actually, I can probably host it on my site and put a link, the file isn't huge and there aren't enough people here yet to kill my transfer rate for a month. I already sent you one, but the other is a closer up vid.

Otherwise, the NY Aquarium sucks. If you've been the New Orleans, Baltimore or Chicago, you've seen some great stuff. NY is small, underfunded and bland-esp for a city that big.

hey all,
I've hosted my quick 2.5 meg vid of a MoonJelly from the NY Aquarium.

I ask that you Right Click the link below and hit save. Please do NOT stream from my website, it'll kill my montly transfer allowance and I'll have to yank the vid. Also, the jelly is swimming sideways cuz I can't find my utility to correct it. I may also shortly strip out the audio to save space, all you hear are a bunch of whiney kids.

Next weekend I'm brewing beer, but at some point in the very near future I need to get to Scripts Aqarium and if there's anything worth viding I'll post some more. I'm so stoked, about two m onths away from setting my tank up...tick tock...

That looks really nice.... impossible to keep at home.

It was the only interesting exhbit at the NY Aq. The tank was about 10' high and about 20' long, all blue background and softly lit with about 5 or 6 jelly's. I would have tried for a wide shot, but there were all these little booger-eaters running around. For a city so big, it should have a much better aquarium.
