Thanks for the comps guys.

Mike what does your tank tamp average? Reading your thread was the main reason I made my own hood to give a bit of heat clearance. With the fan on, the only issue I have is with the evap rate.

Dave,

My temps got so bad that I couldn't run my pico for more than 5 hours straight without hitting 87 degrees and then sum.

The evaporation wasn't that bad but the temps made me shut down my pico in the route that I went with my 72 bowfront.

They do sell a nice coralife fixture that is raised on brackets. If I re-set up this pico I will incorporate this new light.

I'm going to be setting up a 6 gallon nano with the ICECAP prize, it's just on the hush hush for now. (nuff said)

I used the lip stick to color in the outer lips of my button polyps; that gave me a much richer look, wouldn't you agree?

J/K it's my wifes and it was just for scale....

Mbaby tank

Hello! I am new at the pico tank. Just wondering what kind of tank you have, I mean what brand, what size, where to get it and how much. I like to have mine set up just like yours if you don't mind. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks, Karn.

I have the pico down, it's been under my bed for 6 months. It's a all glass and curved in the front.

Where do you live I can sell you the tank and the mini filter that fits it. They are still like new. Then you can build your own pico following my lead.

Let me know if you are interested?

Hello! Thanks for a quick reply. I am in Austin, Texas. How much do you want to sell those for? Do you want to sell the light also? Thanks, Karn.

You can have the tank and the filter for $20 dollars, you pay for shipping.... I currently use the Coralife fixture for my refugium so I don't have that for sale....

You could purchase a brand new one in Texas....

Let me know if you want it....

Mike, do you know the brand and dimensions of the tank you used? By the way, being a newbie, it inspired me......Absolutely fantastic!!!!!!

Mike,

That was nice setup you had. It's too bad you had to shut it down. Was it just temperature problems or was it more that lead you to shuttiing it down? Also, Do you have any frags for sale?
