Phischy, I was assuming that he was referring to the plastic 'fake' wood hoods that you see at all the places metioned such as petco, etc. Those will melt in a heartbeat. Petco does not carry any true wood canopies that would be suitable for our type of systems to my knowledge.

Hmm...The petco on Shepherd has true wood canopies/hoods. Or at least they did a few months ago, which is when I was in there last. They're not high enough to mount MH onto, but they'd work for PCs or T5s.

They had them setup on all the new tanks...So it looked like they were a package...but if you opened one of them up each peice was priced seperately. Honestly I couldn't tell you what all the different sizes were that they had. I wasn't really looking at them, other than to try to get around them to get to the area behind them where the airline tubing was.

so even tho the pic on that site shows 2... the fact that its 1x96w indicates thats its a 1 bulb setup...correct? and i assume it comes with a bulb...is that correct?

Yes, its just one bulb.

Also, don't be hesitant to call hellolights. They have great customer service which is the benefit of using such a big retailer.
