hi iv just bourght a 10 gal nano the light in it is a pl-11w-800k white this means nothing to me can any 1 tell me if i need to upgrade to keep corals,i want mushrooms,and zoos

You will definitely want to upgrade to at least a dual power compact fixture like the Current USA Satellite 2x40 watt. For mushrooms and zoanthids you wont need anything more than that.

i had that fixture and loved it. i started off with a single PC fixture tehn upgraded to 96w quad light (no control, only on and off) then two the dual light fixture then three light DIY canopy, and last but not least the JBJ K2 Viper 70MH HQI pendant. out of all of them i liked the dual orbit fixture the best. MH was to HOT for my nano, the others where the options that i didnt like. i like the nice clean look over my tanks. HTH
