Between the added restriction of the T and the fact that I will probably have to throttle back the pump with a valve, you are probably correct. The 3000 does about 550+ GPH at 4ft of head and the RIO 1700 does about 350GPH. I'm not sure what the 1/2" durso overflow can handle. Hopefully I will soon be able to check that out.

That is good to know. I need to look back at my fluids books. I know it depends on where the bulkhead is in the tank as well (differing pressures for differant heights i.e bottom vs back of tank). Durso says that his standpipes may help to allow a larger flow from a bulkhead as well. I will be testing it once i decide I have enough money to buy the pump.

Allright...we should be done hijacking this thread with the cool photos on it.
