LOL @ rescuediver  I just noticed you have toadstool (I think that's what they call it). I saw one at my LFS, same size but with green tips. It cost $50. No more than the size of a quarter. Why the cleaner shrimp in refugium? Does it have a purpose?

thanks for all the nice comments guys, its quite encouraging to hear these comments,

the reason why i put the cleaner in the fuge is it looked too boring, and sometimes fod gets trapped in the chaeto so ill let him clean away in there.

I don't know what's more amazing...that the tank is so small or that you make it look so damn big. Nice setup and it's looking good.

another update, electrical box made for ballast and wiring!!

here is what i made last nite out of acrylic, the electrical box ended up too small so i made another bigger one this morning, none the less still function the same way.

last nights box.

ok so this morning i went to home depot picked up some 14gage high temp/voltage wires to use on the MH system. and i put everything in the box i made and stucked it under the HOB. just waiting to drop the light and then zip strap everything onto the copper poles.

here is the box with everything in it. it runs pretty cool with the fan on, hopefully this makes the ballast live longer.

Hello,

Does the HOB AC give enough current or are you using a power head I can not see?

Love your tank - great job!

Thanks,
Steve :D
