idea on a new fuge filter

just a thought I have a whisper 50 I thought about making into a mini fuge w/ a removable skimmer my thought is to make the skimmer replaceable so it could be removed for cleaning in doing so I know most skimmers have what I would consider a large passthrough area but what I was thinking was to make a couple of filter screens using what eccentually is window screen material anyone have any thoughts on this matter ? or would this material be to small in diameter to allow proper filtration?????????? :langle

yes I am but want to make it so it skims finer particles so thought I might use nylon screen material has anyone tried this & if so what were the results :?:
