Sometimes itll take a little while for things to work properly with images, so don't worry, just give it ten minutes and time to refresh itself.

I can finally see Tanya's now. Hillbilly - lets give it a little more time...I guess it takes a few hours.

By the way I love Boone, NC. Really cool little town nestled up in the mountains. I saw Dave Matthews and Tim Renolds play at the amplitheather there last year. There was a blizzard too!

Oh yeah, there are several ski slopes in the area. We sometimes get snows into April. I think it's going to stay warm from now on this year though. I'm really glad, it was a cold winter here.

Okay, well my avatar was active in less than 2 minutes after I created my account. If yours is not showing up, you must have done something wrong initially. Here is exactly what I did:

1) go to profile
2) at the bottom go to show gallery
3) select the avatar you want
4) then hit select avatar
5) when it brings you back to the profile page, hit submit and wait for it to process the whole thing which took like 5 seconds

I didn't change a single option on the main profile page. It was simply an avatar test. PM me if you still cannot get it.

If you still want to use your own, you can. Just use MS Paint and resize resize resize until it's at the right pixel dimensions. IF the file size is too high you can always decrease the resolution of the image and still not lose any visibile changes. The next can only show a certain resolution anyhow and there's no point in having a higher resolution on an small avatar. I'll see if I can look up what the optimal res. should be for the net.
