How the cut...

a green star polyp that has grown waaaaaay to much, it has spread over some of the sand and another rock. I know I should take some of it to the LFS but this is something I've never done before and have no idea how to "cut it--brake it". Thanks for the help!!

Well I cut the tissue with a sharp clean razor blade and then break through the LR with a chisel and hammer... works everytime. GSP are moody though and may not open up for a few days after this happens but it will be fine. ***DO THIS OUTSIDE THE TANK AND RINSE ALL NEW PIECES IN SOME WATER BEFORE PUTTING THEM BACK INTO THE TANK***
