I know to target feed with a turkey baster but I feed the tank and it's like total snowstorm. How do you feed just right? Bristle worms come out like crazy.

i melt it in a cup of tank water. then i target feed, and last but not least i dump the rest in the tank. thats pretty much all i do. seems to work out well.

I mix some to disolve and target and then leave some frozen together it is the only way my clown will eat it . the bristles come out I go in with a pair of hemostats and out they come

Yeah I remember when I first bought a stick of that, I didn't realize how much of that would cause a snowstorm. I found myself doing what drty says and put some in a cup and have it dissolve there and then target feed with a turkey baster.

A little goes a long way. Thawing it out beforehand in a cup of tank water, and turning off the filtration will make it easier to not overfeed.

You can also use a small plastic bowl turned upsidedown and put it over thew coral you are trying to feed to keep the food from being carried away by the current. you just have to remember to remove it 5 or 10 minutes after feeding.

PS If the big frozen bars seem like too much for a nanoreefer cyclopeeze is also available freeze-dried in either its whole form or made into flake.
