I think someone had a link to a post on nano-reef and thats how I found the site. I'm glad I found the site too cause there seems to be some very good locals here from So Cal that I can hopefully pick their brains to get valueable info from and hopefully do some frag trades with once my tank gets established.

and well if any help just PM and maybe later i'll have some frags to swap with you and well i can even share some with you..

and about LFS i know alot that or in our surrunding so i can give you address or take roadtrip to LFS but personally of the 8+ LFS that i know just 4 are the ones a really like..

1. Tongs variety of everything always find what u looking for really nice stock store and well better know for their frag tanks ...frags from $10 to $25

2. Jeff exotics another well stock store really friendly and alot of coral too. (special orders they will get them for you)

3. Circle pet ... another nice LFS once in a while you get some great deals and nice selection of fish ... this place has giving me better guarantee of fish than any other LFS : meaning their fish have died less from other stores...

4.Aquadesingz ... far away LF like 30min-1 hour drive depending on traffic but worth the drive the get some pretty nice and rare zoas and they have a big selection of ricordias and better price for them too & other really nice stuff...

Ed, I've been to Circle pets once and Jeff's a few times. Where in LB are u? I used to live by the Aquarium of the Pacific but now moved to Lakewood, near cerritos. I currently go to Strictly Fish to get my Catalina water. Have u been there? and what do you think of them?

Welcome, bobajum. I too am local... Costa Mesa. I like Tongs for certain things, but my recent favorite is a store down here called Coral Oasis. Great selection of some rarer stuff for unbeatable prices... I got my recent T. Crocea clam from them for $40...

Well yeah the aquarium is really close a live on long beach,ca around cherry and 4th street... and well yeah i have been on strictly fish but they have some actitud they reallly jerks and well just lets put it like this i got my nano from them and that was the last thing .... they dont apreciate you like a customer.... and well all the corals are over price same the fish and not that great variety like tongs at fount valley,ca you should go there for corals nice selection of frags... etc...
