How can I keep proper calcium levels on a 24 gal.Nano tank?

I have a 24 gal. Nano tank, I will like to keep hard corals on this tank like maybe some clams, sps's and lps corals. What is the best way to keep high calcium levels (400-500ppms) on a tank this size? Is it enough by doing weekly 10% water changes and the use of a calcium/ alkalinity buffer solution like the ESV Bionic two part solution? Or do I need to setup a calcium reactor?

P.S I'm well aware that the calcium needs will depend on the bioload of the tank. I just want to have a general idea. Thanks!

Just depends how you want to do it. Totally possible to maintain proper calcium levels w/ only b-ionic in a nano.

Between weekly water changes and the use of a product like B-ionic you should be bale to maintain calcium levels once they are established. IME B ionic is good to maintain levels but doesn't work well to raise levels, you would need another product if you have low calcium levels.

yeah try using some TROPIC MARIN BIO-CALCIUM just a tiny bit everyother day... maybe like 1/4 of a teaspoon that will work.... but keep a calcium tester handy just in case... cause you dont want to over dose it....

I agree with TROPIC MARIN BIO-CALCIUM. Pretty good stuff if Ca is low. Also, this product reportedly does not affect pH.

I dose ESV 2 Part with an oral syringe (no needle was ever attached) that I bought at Walgreens. I mofified it by attaching 5 inches of airline tubing to the discharge port. This allows me to accurately fill the syringe directly from the bottle and to dose the tank into the outflow from my Mini-Jet water pump.
