I've had my nano tank for about three months. i woke up this morning and my pump is not working. I havn't done any changes to the one the came with it. i dont know what to do but my fish are going to die soon. please help me!


thanks for all your help...i got a replacement pump and now it works just fine. had to drive an hour to get it but its in and workin. thanks again.

You say your pump is not working? You mean a powerhead/water moving pump, or a filter?

Either way, go out and get a replacement ASAP. In the meantime, place an airstone into the tank and start aerating it; that will keep the water oxygenized, and still provide some water flow.

If you're talking about a return pump from a sump, and the heater is not in the main tank, you're going to run into heat loss problems. Wrap the tank in blankets if it's in danger of losing its heat too quickly; if you're in a warm climate, it should be fine until you can get the problem fixed.
