help with sump/fuge.

hey everyone im building a 3 gallon sump/fuge for my 2.5 and i was wondering what you guys think of my outline so far. Mostly if you guys think it would work or not, or the placement of things. Any advice or comments are apreciated.

I dont quite understand the different compartments. As far as the equipment goes, I would suggest skipping the UV. They are really only pratical for very very large systems like those in public aquariums. Everything else sounds good but maybe you can get a better drawing of how you are going to do the dividers.

yea its a top down look and yes i will try to get a better illustration of it.

LOL yeah it can be very challenging to get a good illustration. Have you checked out this site? http://www.melevsreef.com/allmysumps.html

All down the left side there you will see a whole bunch of different designs that will work for all sorts of various situations... they should all be able to be scaled down to fit your application.
