HELP NO LIGHTS

I bought a timer for the lights and plugged the light cord into the timer and plugged the timer into my light strip and it sparked a little and no lights. I unplugged and replugged and different combo's and still no lights. It is a stanard hood of a nano 12 gallon. The fans are running but no lights. This tank is 6 months old. Anybody have thoughts as to what happened and how to fix rather fast?

I know it had more than likely to be the timer. It blew the the hood's ability to light up. The bulb and the electronics to the hood were both blown. Well, what do you expect for a six dollar timer. Went back to the lfs and they gave me a whole new hood. I love Jack's pet store. I was starting to sweat, my babies need light. I'm beginning to think I'm a diaster. First the pump shaft breaks (last month) now this. The tank is five months old. Is it me or is it Nano? :lighting

Yes, I have been to Aquarium Adventure. Nice place but overpriced on saltwater creatures. Jack's on West Broad and Jack's in Hillard are the best places I have found here. Just bought a clown goby from the Hillard store for $8.00 dollars. What a deal! He is beautiful and is eating and starting to show his personality. They are so little, wish I could add more gobies but I guess they will fight. If you love shopping, go to Tuttle Mall. You will be in heaven.

been there it is an awsome place I have not yet been to AA but hope to
my sister in law bought me a light bulb from them but it was expensive as ....
Jacks is still a little far for me to transport a fish from am working on a transport container for that purpose
I am taking a cooler and equiping it with a battery and regular pump as well as a portable filter and heat and cooling packs so that I can transport them back to pa with me when we go to ohio if we see some thing we like we can transport them safely with out worry of heat or cold

AA has a shark in one of the big show tanks. It is really cool. It isn't like what you would see in the south but it's about 4 feet long. The tank has suspended rock on top of the water. Wonder how that is done? Right now the salt order comes in on Friday (late). Jack's get their order on Tuesdays (around six). Expect a crowd. Not a big crowd but people lose manners.

we usually come out over the weekends
most people there lost their manners at jacks
but alas that is not that bad of an experince
the transport system we are makeing is 100% portable
no lights but filtration and air so that if we see something we can buy it
we will carry some fresh salt H20 so that we can do changes and keep it over night we even thought about a small tank to take but the transport container will have it all but the light . My brother and sister inlaws neighbor is big in to salt water and helped us in the begining he has since got rid of it so that he could go back to school . any way when we come back out we will wave to ya
