Okay,

The deal with the 24 gallon is that it is limited to only 36 watts times 2 bulbs, so total is 72. You would think wow,,, 72 watts now thats a good amount for a 12 gallon tank,,, but not for a 24, if you want high end stuff.

The 24 caters to reefers that want more space to add more fish and more rock. But the high end stuff will not work because lack of power. You guys know that the higher the tank,,, the more lighting you need.

So if they did 72 watts for the Deluxe 12 gallon, that would be cool. As for the fans, it has 2 80mm insteand of the smaller 60 mm in our cubes. You get a bigger pump as well.

And of course you have a lot more room to play with. If I had a biggger place, I would have one of them instead of my Deluxe and I would certainly upgrade the lighting to about 150 watts PC.

Brian, Dragon,,, and reefers, I am excited because today I get my 102 watts of power. I've been showing my take at 78 watts only modified. And Chris at nanocustoms.com has shipped it out to me.

I can hardly wait, plus it has the redisigned canopy, better stronger cooling than the standard deluxe. According to Chirs analysis, it runs 6 degrees cooler than the stock hood, go figure???

JBJ, made a lot of new configs after they got back so much feedback about current users of the Deluxe and original cubes....

So If you guys ever decide to pick up a cube,,, make sure it's with the new Hood Canopy,,,, known as a Special Edition; SE.

If anyone does consider upgrading a cube, be sure to check out nanocustoms.com. Everything stays stock on the outside but man watch out for the inside,,,, it's a lot of power.....
