THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP GUYS but..
I bought My nano tank right..and the next day I put it on my dresser...added water...put in the rocks the way I wanted it...added sand...and everything was perfect...I left my house....then came back to check on it and I saw some water leaking onto my carpet...then I looked at the tank and on the right side of the tank I saw a crack on the glass from the top to the bottom...I was sooo pissed!! I took out all the water...took out all the rocks....left the sand...and stuck the tank back into the box it came in and stuck it in the trunk of my car. TODAY I am going to the pet store after class and hopefully I will get my money back. If not, I don't know what I am going to do because I dont want another 6g nano...and the only other one that I know they have is the 12g nano...and I dont want that because I have no space to fit that in my room...THIS SUCKS!!!

Other than being a bit of a challenge to find a light for you could look at a standard 5 1/2 AGA, I think the dimensions are 16"x8"x8".

16" X 8" X10"....

I only know, because I just measured mine!!!

It is much easier now to find good lighting for the 5 gallon AGA's.....I have the Hamilton Tec. over mine. It puts out 56watts of pc light.(2- 28watt lamps) and is fan cooled!

Thanks for correcting my mistake (I was going from my sometimes bad memory). Can you post a link for the light you are referring to?
