i'm relatively new to reefing. i did manage to keep a 10 gal nano alive for just under a year. unfortunately i had to take a trip for a week and left my roomate to care for it . due to an untimely heat wave in socal it cooked. i was heartbroken.
i've got the itch again. this time i'm certianly going to recal past exp. and go larger. just want to know what any of you might think of my choice in aquariums.

i like the features, and i understand the price is a lil hefty.

Well those are some nice features. I don't know anything about that particular tank but that is a VERY nice looking setup with all the bells and whistles built in. That is a bit pricey, but, if everythings works well I would buy that (actually I'm thinking of getting it anyways, as a decent MH setup can run $200+)

Thank you for your opinion Tim. I agree it is a very nice setup. Honestly i dont believe i'll be using all of the bells and whistles all the time ( i.e. the skimmer and uv sterilizer.) i plan on making the best use of the fuge using LR rubble, and cheato. I want to take a more natural approach with my bio filter by going with a DSB and do my base aquascape with dead rock using a marine safe epoxy( any info here will be greatly appreciated.) and seeding it with a few pieces of hand selected live rock. the only mechanical filtration i will be using will be sponges to filter any large debris. ( one at a time of course ) i was thinking of only adding one species of fish ( possible future breeding purposes ) i cant find it now for refrence but it was a black perc with the orange yellow face and yellow edged pectoral fins. ( ID?) i'm going to continue my research on suitable CUC to house them with. ( again any info would be GREATLY APPRECIATED) this is going to be a long planned out process. the only two solid things are my choice of aquarium, and the percs. ( they are way too pretty to pass up the challenge of breeding.) thanks again for your input.

I found the fish. it is a black saddleback clownfish. any idea wether a 39g tank would support a pair or more?
