Hello all, Have a question for anyone with Nanocube exp.?

Just got the Nano cube in. I know as far as cycling and taking things slow. Which I plan to go slow if for no reason other than cost. :D Of all the research that I have been doing and I have done a few months of before even ordering. I have never seen this. This is what I got when I opened up the box.

IT is recommended to remove the following for Reef Applications to prevent the build-up of undesirable Nitrate. A: Bio-balls B Ceramic Rings.

This makes since since the bio-ball will eventually get all kinds of build up and put in the tank what you are supposed to take out. Just want to make sure this is what I need to be doing.

I'm not sure what the question is here.

If you're asking should you NOT use the ceramic rings, the answer is probably yes. I believe most of the folks on the board that are running cubes do not have the ceramic media, or bioballs in the back.

That was the question. on weather or not to remove the media. Just the first that I have seen this anywhere and wanted to check. Thanks for the info.
