OK boys/girls if anyone has a big problem with dirt or floating things on your nano surface and you cant find a surface skimmer to fix a 6, 12 or 24 g nano cubes no matter with one well try this link

and you will improve your nano with good stuff that this men did to his nano cube and also i DIY surface skimmer .. and will cost you notting and believe me it works great your do it try it and if need longer rows just doit again like he did and you will get a great surface skimmer i did it and works great super great instead of spending $ 30 or more i spend nothing cause you just use.... see link

Thanks for the link. I bought one of the $30 skimmers you refer to (I found it for $20 though) just to see how it was made and exactly how well it works. I have to say it work great and would be easy to fabricate with a few acrylic fabricating skills. I have been using one of the Hydor units on both of my Nanocubes since I set them up but I didn't remove the rim, I may do this later. I always look forward to seeing upgrades for the NCs. Your welcome my pleasure... and well i was like you i was gonna order the surface skimmer and by accident looking on nano cubes customs i found him and i was like why to spend i can doit with a tape case.. and well works great im thinking on keep improving my nano once in a while i found good customs like im gonna do alot of things that he did with his nano that i want to do little by little ... im gladd that you like the link and hope it works for everyone...
