Got some sexy shrimp!

In an effort to stop talking about urinating in our tanks thanks to Flame's post #-o I wanted to share a few pics of some sexy shrimp I just got for my tanks. I picked up 3 of these little guys at a LFS for $6 each. The cheapest I've seen them online was like $12 each + shipping so I grabbed em up quick. I put 2 in my 5.5 and 1 in my 2.5. They are really cool and seem to be doing ok so far. I've read that they do better in pairs so I'm thinking about picking another one up.

I heard that they like to host anamones as well so I'd really like to drop a few in my 20 and see if they went to my rbta. I fear that I'd never see them again though and I'm pretty sure a 6-line would eat em.

Which LFS did you get those? Do you know if they are compatible with fire shrimp and peppermint shrimp? I would like to get 3 or 4 since they are so small.

Not sure about the compatibility of these little guys. I would be a little nervous but they might be ok. Hopefully someone else here has more experience with them then I do.

I actually picked them up at a pet store down in Lake Jackson. I drive that way occasionally for work and I went and checked it out. Not much there and I don't even know the name of it (prob. only 1 store in the entire city) but they had these.

Sexies have got to be one of the cutest shrimp you can put in your tank...some say they surpass the cuteness presented by cleaner shrimp, even. I personally haven't kept any, but I've always strove to keep them in stock in my fish rooms, as they're often a hot seller.

And btw, I always priced them at $5 a pop :p

PS - Okay, okay, so I'm officially the pee man now 8-[ ...you might as well lock the thread, DJ. Although I'm sure we'll all be referring back to it for years to come =D>

I've got a pair in my 55 reef with a blood shrimp, skunk cleaner, peppermint and a coral banded.

At one point I had about 7 in there, but I've only got one surviving pair that alternate between my RBTA, BTA, and my frogspawn. I'm fairly certain that the coral banded was the b@st@rd that took out the rest of them, cause I had another skunk, peppermint, and blood/fire shrimp that I watched him attack. I keep trying to catch him, but so far he's managed to elude capture. :x
