Black claws are always a dead give-away to anything that is NOT reef safe.

I'm thinking (since i don't want to kill the gorilla crab) if i should get some bits and bobs lying around set up a small plastic tank and put it in there.
i got a UGF, spare coral gravel, a 6ltr plastic tank, a small but efective LED fishtank light. (i actualy have a 65 ltr freshwater tank with nothing in it but i don't want to use a nice tank just for a pest)
what do You think ?

To be honest it wouldn't be a great loss if if did die, and infact i've just been measuring the volume of water the acrylic tank can hold, its actually 11 ltrs and as i said i don't want to go transforming my fresh water aquarium i am only 13 and i have not got the money to spend on suitable saltwater equipment for a 65 ltr or to buy a new tank.

How would one fish out crabs that dwell in the rocks? I have a few small crabs inhabbiting the live rock. Don't know what they are, but they do have small black claws. I don't think it's possible to nab him with a net when he is crawling on the rock. How are you guys catching these things?
