Hello all.

I know that a majority of the members on nanotank.com have the 12g nanocube. What I would like to do is create a list of modifications that you all have made to these all-in-one systems to make them more suitable for a nano reef. If you could include a basic "how-to" as well if needed... maybe even a couple of pics! I think this would be a very useful tool for people just getting into the hobby!

Corals for a 12g nano: http://www.nanotank.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3840

Thanks in advance for your tips!

fine fine, ill be the first to chime in :D

Most people mod the all-in-one tanks with a fuge mod. They peal off the back tape material, than add a light, like the coralife 2x9w light on the back, or an azoo light. Then just add chaeto in the back chamber and maybe some live rock rubble and your done :D

Good for nutrient export and keeping nitrates down

Of course adding a casette tape skimmer or the jbj one is a good idea. Aswell as upgrading the return pump to a maxi 600 or 900 with a hydor water deflector
