So I bought a Peppermint shrimp to deal with my small Aiptasia problem. Worked great! He ate all of the Aiptasia in 5 days--even the big ones that some people say need to be removed by hand.
Then he went after the little head of frogspawn that I bought a few days ago. He pretty much ate all of the polyps leaving just 3-4 small polyps. But I still see a fan like tentacle pop out of the mouth when I feed the tank. Is it still alive? How can I help it grow back? The little fan shaped tentacle pops in and out so quickly it is difficult to get it to hold a piece of mysis (assuming this is what it would eat)
BTW, the (fatter) peppermint shrimp is back at the LFS, and I brought home a nice little Bubble coral.
UPDATE: I don't think the fan like tentacle is the mouth of frogspawn. It is probably some other animal. :cryinga:
