can you tell i have the day off of work? while i've noticed wacky critters in my nano, i haven't investigated. now that i'm starting to, i'm addicted!
so here are two things.
first, this crazy worm, with coloration like a snake (alternating brown/gray stripes) that has been hanging in this rock for a while. I rarely see him, sort of opportune he was around today. i saw him at night weeks ago, where he looked clear. He is pretty sqiurmy, but i only see his "head" end probing around; he isn't one to slither in and out. (you'll see him in the pic below the mushroom)
second, white branched structures sticking from the rock. they don't suck in or close when touched, and are pretty wiry and firm. not sure if this is some other kind of foram? i've got the red Homotrema rubrum (thanks again for the link to xatlworld!).

i need to stare at my tank more often, it's such a great microcosm! (though the 6-day work week kills my tank time)
