I've got one in my main system at home that ditched it's shell for a regular shell. But it comes back to the staghorn periodically and will wear it a day or so, then back to the snail shell, then back to the staghorn. It leaves them in the empty one in the same corner of the tank every time...Funny crab.dragon79 said:i like that last one, very cool pic with the emerald. As far as the staghorn, that shell does not last long though. I hear there is no real way of knowing how to care for that shell in captivity. Some have had them for 2 months living (the shell i mean, not the crab), while others have had them almost for a year before that has died. Mine ended up ditching the shell and has gone into a bigger regular abandoned shell. At least the crab still looks real cool though, with his crazy red eyes and all
I bought two of them. One went in the nano, one went in the home tank.tMoney said:Great pics! Finally I get to see a staghorn in another pic besides the one on liveaquaria.com
Thanks. Some of that is the autolevels I run in PS...But with an increasing number of shots, there's very little difference. I'm hoping that means that I'm getting better with the camera.Kris said:Love the pics man. Awsome color depth.
